“Ramya made me love Calligraphy like never before. I would say I just had a special keen on learning the art, mostly because it’s interesting to watch how the words are styled. But her workshop and after seeing her work, I got a confidence that I can bring that in me as well. “I just loved Ramya’s workshop. I actually haven’t picked up a pen in at least 9-10 years ever since I left college and have been so interested in learning calligraphy for a long time, but wasn’t sure if I could actually do it. Her workshop was really amazing, great location and she gave such wonderful supplies! She was so patient with each one of us and made sure we got the technique right. The only problem was that it was only for four hours! She is a wonderful and patient teacher! “

Ramya is so talented and amazing. And it’s mesmerizing to see her hands write so beautifully. I loved her workshop because she can teach you something she’s so passionate abut. And her passion and love for this is so infectious! And why learn brush calligraphy? Because it’s calming. You cannot rush it and when you focus on lettering, everything else is pushed aside. It’s just you and your pen creating something beautiful! Lastly when you’re learning from the RBTRARY, maybe you will also be inspired to follow your heart! :)
“As a working mother with 2 little twins, it’s just really hard, not just to follow a hobby/passion, but to find one in the first place. So the minute the announcement regarding the workshop popped up, it was a no-brainer decision for me to enroll. It was a fantastic session where I got to interact with her personally. A fantastic teacher!! she was very calm and patient in teaching all the techniques. I also had a chance to interact with fellow enthusiasts through the session which made me feel part of a cool community. I still use the practice kit that was given and do small exercises at home. I even got the opportunity to help out my daughters in one of their crafts session and they were so happy about how “beautiful” the words looked. Their words, not mine!
Overall it was a productive, fun and great session and I’m looking forward to attending more!!”
