Learn the basics of Brush Calligraphy using the RIGHT TECHNIQUES in this 4-hour online class spread over two days. The class will meet via Zoom call from 7 pm - 9 pm IST on June 20 and June 21.

Worksheets for practice will be sent to you by email prior to the class (print them out for class if you can).

Proper setup and common mistakes to avoid
Foundational strokes in modern calligraphy
How to build the Lowercase alphabet
Connecting Letters and adding Flourishes to words
How to compose a balanced, beautiful Calligraphy piece
How to continue practicing your craft
Uppercase alphabet is not covered in this class but is included in the worksheets
YOU WILL NEED
An uninterrupted online connection for the Zoom call on both days
Brush pens from any brand - Tombow, Pentel, Sakura, Faber-Castell, Camlin, ADD - anything works!
Worksheets (sent to you by email before class) printed on Laser Printer paper
If it is not safe to print the worksheet, no worries - use any smooth paper you can find (but bring a pencil and ruler so we can draw our own guidelines).
CONTINUED EDUCATION
Your calligraphy education does not stop with the 4 hours. You will be given homework after day 1 and day 2 to help you improve your practice as well as practice drills to further your craft.
Students will be added to a private Facebook Group to continue sharing their pieces, motivate each other, and get helpful feedback from the group. And to ask me questions :)
Video feedback on any one of your chosen calligraphy compositions!
